Our 5th Ave. Kindergarten Program is open to Junior and Senior Kindergarten children attending Mutchmor & First Ave. Schools.
We have 2 qualified ECE / School Teachers on staff. We implement a varied curriculum that includes math, science, art, and language activities. We also focus on helping the children develop important social skills to use within their peer group.
Throughout the year, we introduce monthly themes geared to the children's environment. We go on several field trips a month including the Public Library, NAC Theatre, Children's Opera Lyra, Museums, Galleries, local recreational areas and Gatineau Park.
In our program, we also introduce music, sign language, oral storytelling and yoga on a regular basis.
We believe in encouraging each child to grow and learn at their own place within a warm, supportive and enriched environment.
